Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Ditton Road, Mount Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable installation of new electrical supply by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic in Ditton Road from the junction with Alers Road to the junction with Hansol Road, Bexleyheath
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic in Mount Road from the junction with Alers Road to the junction with Upton Road, Bexleyheath
  2. The Order will come into effect on 30 September 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 31 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via, 
    • Diversion for Ditton Road
      Alers Road – Mount Road – Hansol Road and reverse
    • Diversion for Mount Road
      Alers Road – Red House Lane – Upton Road and reverse
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable installation of new electrical supply by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative diversion will be in place, 
    • Access to be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable essential works to the water network by Morrisons Water Services in behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Paroma Road from the junction with Ripley Road to the junction with Sheridan Road, Belvedere
    • No waiting no loading Place (parking restrictions) in Paroma Road from the junction with Ripley Road to the junction with Sheridan Road, Belvedere
  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 September 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 77 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Carris Utility Solutions Ltd on behalf of Electricity Network Company Limited to undertake utility asset works, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 
    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition – 1 parking by outside 26, 5 parking bays opposite junction of Maximfeldt Road, 3 bays from 38 – 44, 1 bay from 26 to 28, 1 parking bay outside number 7 and 1 disabled bay to be suspended outside 5, West Street, Erith

Royston Road and Ridge Avenue, Crayford - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement Scheme, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 
    • Prohibition of traffic on Royston Road from the junction with Heathview Avenue to Station Road, Crayford
    • Prohibition of traffic on Ridge Avenue, Crayford
    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Royston Road and Ridge Avenue, Crayford – the entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway.
      Restrictions will be removed when not required.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 23September 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be provided via:

    • Vac Ex road closures – Localised diversion routes will be signposted

The Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (Amendment No. 8), (Bexley Station)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. 10) Traffic Order 2024

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 16 September 2024 made the above titled Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49  and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
  2. The general effects of the  Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) Traffic Order 2024 amendment order would be to:
    1. designate new disabled parking places in which disabled person’s vehicles, displaying a disabled person’s blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of:

    4. convert a section of the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ in Kenley Close Bexley to a Disabled Persons Parking Bay operating ‘at all times’

The Bexley (Bexley Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Bexley Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
    • Reduce the existing Resident or Business Permit Parking Bay in front of No. 36 Thanet Road Bexley by 3.6 metres
    • The removed section of parking bay which currently operates between 10.00am and 11.00pm, Monday to Friday will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’10.00am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday’.
  3. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT. I give notice that application is being made by Chatsworth Schools to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:-
