Use this service to:

Apply for a free library membership so that you can:

• borrow books and other items such as audiobooks
• access our online digital resources such as eBooks, eMagazines, eComics and reference resources
• make use of library computers and Wi-Fi, as well as printing and scanning services
   

If you cannot get to a local library in person, you can apply for the free Home Library Service

There are two types of library membership:

Full library membership

This membership gives you access to all library services, online digital resources and a library card so you can borrow items.

Digital-only membership

This membership only gives you access to our complete range of online digital resources:

• eBooks
• eNewspapers
• eMagazines
• eComics
• and other reference resources

However, you will not receive a physical library card.

 Completion takes around 5 minutes.

Before you start

If you are under 18, you will need consent from a parent or guardian and must provide their details when you apply.
