It’s not long now until the Civic Parade brings community celebration to the heart of Bexleyheath on 23 June.

Mark your calendars and join us for this exciting event, highlighting our shared values and the contributions of our local heroes.

Marching bands, community groups and local organisations join the parade through the town centre, led by the Mayor of Bexley, Cllr Sue Gower MBE JP.

They will set off at 9:45am from the Civic Offices and march along The Broadway to Christ Church, where Rev’d Trevor Wyatt will lead a service of community celebration and thanks to welcome our new Mayor.

All are welcome to attend the service, which will begin at Christ Church at 10:30am.

After the service, the parade will march back to the Civic Offices, arriving there at approximately 12noon.
