Bexley’s annual apprenticeship event is back

Bexley's Apprenticeship & Participation Event

The highly anticipated Bexley Apprenticeship and Participation Event will take place on Monday 3 February 2025, at the Civic Offices, Bexleyheath.

This event is designed for young people aged 16 to 24 and their parents or carers, offering a unique opportunity to engage with 40 employers, colleges, universities, training providers and support organisations. Attendees will have the chance to explore apprenticeship and training opportunities, as well as gain valuable guidance on how to navigate the path toward their ideal careers or courses.

The event will run over two sessions: the first from 5.30pm to 7pm and the second from 7pm to 8.30pm. Each session is designed to allow attendees to speak with employers, ask questions and discover the various opportunities available to them.

Cllr Caroline Newton, Cabinet Member for Education, said:

The annual Bexley Apprenticeship and Participation Event is an essential occasion for young people, parents and carers across the borough. By connecting them with employers, colleges, universities and training providers, we are giving them the tools to take that all-important first step in their careers. I encourage all young people aged 16 to 24 to attend and gain valuable guidance for their future.”
