Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign, which runs from 15 to 31 March, is calling on residents to show their pride in their community by taking part in a mass action litter pick.

The main message in this year’s campaign is that the environment belongs to everyone and we can all do our bit to protect it.

In Bexley, we have approximately 300 community-spirited volunteers from across our borough who work with us as litter pickers to help keep our local area clean and green.

If you could spare some time and would like to participate in the Great British Spring Clean why not join Bexley’s community litter picker program. You will be provided with a litter picker, gloves, hi-vis vest, litter hoop and great British spring clean bags to clean up your local street. Meet like-minded people from your local area and help protect the environment on your doorstep.
