Help us to make Bexley better for people with autism

Hands up in the air

We are working together with partners to develop a new Bexley Autism Strategy. We need your help to understand the issues you and your family are facing and to tell us where you think we should focus our efforts.

If you have autism, care for someone with autism or work with autistic people, we want to hear about your experiences. What’s worked well and what has not? You do not need to have a formal autism diagnosis to take part in developing this strategy.

Cllr Melvin Seymour, Bexley’s Cabinet Member for Adults’ Service & Health said:

I’d urge as many people as possible to take part in the survey. Everyone’s experience of autism is different and by sharing yours you will directly inform and shape Bexley’s autism strategy ensuring that it really does make our Borough better for people with autism."

Please complete the survey at Bexley Autism Strategy by 31 October 2023.

The Bexley Autism Partnership Board oversees the implementation of the Borough’s Autism Strategy. It includes a range of organisations and individuals, including the Council, NHS South East London Integrated Care Board, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Job Centre Plus, Care Providers, Voluntary Groups and autistic people and their carers.
