Notice is Hereby Given that the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Bexley (the Council) in exercise of their powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980) intend to dispose of approximately 732 square metres of land (“the Land”) at Sidcup Manor House, being land lying to the south of Jenner Close, Sidcup and to the east of Elm Road, Sidcup either by way of the grant of a lease or disposal of the freehold interest. The Land will comprise amenity area to the Manor House and is shown hatched green on the Location Plan BVS8581.

The Location Plan is available on request by telephoning 020 3045 4760 (ref CJ) between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Mondays to Fridays or by emailing propertyservices@bexley.gov.uk.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Sydney Road, Sidcup - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Southern Gas Networks to undertake a disconnection of service in the carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic on Sydney Road, Sidcup
  1. The Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
  • Main Road, Northcote Road and vice versa
  • Tyron Road, The Vista, Upperton Road, Chislehurst Road, Elm Road, Main Road
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable repair and maintenance to the water network by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Avenue Road from Beechfield Road to Lesney Park, Erith
  1. The Order will come into effect on 2 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 Months.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
  • Lesney Park Diversion - Lesney Park – Lesney Park Road – Park Crescent – Victoria Road – Avenue Road and reverse

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road closure) of Honiton Road, Welling for the entire length
  • No waiting No loading (parking restrictions) in Honiton Road, Welling for the entire length
