Brampton Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable modernisation of traffic signals by Telent on behalf of Transport for London they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) for both northbound and southbound movements on Brampton Road at the junction with Crook Log, Bexleyheath
  2. The Order will come into effect on 28 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 7 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via, Westbound traffic Danson Road- u-turn at roundabout – Danson Road – Crook Log -Avenue Road – Glynde Road
    - Southbound traffic on Brampton Road
    - Glynde Road – Avenue Road -Crook Log
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Alderney Road, Slade Green - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable the laying of a new service main by Southern Gas Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic(road closure) in Alderney Road, Slade Green from outside numbers 29 to 33 and outside numbers 36 to 38
  2. The Order will come into effect on 28 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 Days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via, Alderney Road
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Waldrist Way, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Highway Improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) 140 meters from junction with Yarnton Way, Erith to junction with Kentcot Way Erith and Waldrist Way, Erith
    -no waiting no loading (parking restrictions) 140 meters from junction with Yarnton Way, Erith to junction with Kentcot Way Erith and Waldrist Way, Erith
  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 Nights
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative diversion will be in place.
    - access to be maintained for businesses, residents and emergency vehicles.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

South Road/Northend Road, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a new electricity connection by Riverside Energy Park Ltd, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic on Queens Road/South Road, Erith from junction with James Watt Way to roundabout with Northend Road, Erith 
    - prohibition of traffic on Northend Road, Erith at the junction of Boundary Street, Erith
    - banned right hand turn from Bridge Road onto Northend Road 
    - banned right hand turn from Colyers Lane onto Northend Road
    - prohibition of traffic on Boundary Street at roundabout with junction Northend Road 
    - speed Limit  reduction from 40MPH to 30 MPH on Northend Road, Erith
  2. The Order will come into effect on 16 May 2024  and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 42 Days
  3. Whilst the works are in progress:
    - Queens Road(southbound)- James Watt Way-Queens Road(northbound) – Bexley Road – Erith Road-Watling Street – London Road -Crayford High Street – Perry Street – Thames Road 
    - traffic to Boundary Street

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Electric connection and Cable works by JSM Group, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Crayford Way From the junction of Thames Road to junction of Mill Place, Crayford
    - no waiting no loading in Crayford Way from Thames Road to Maiden Lane, Crayford
    - banned Left Turn From Thames Road, Crayford into Crayford Way, Crayford

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a new connection by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks the effects of which will be the introduction of: 
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) on Bedonwell Road from Long Lane, Bexleyheath to Parsonage Manorway, Erith
    - no waiting no loading on Bedonwell Road from Long Lane, Bexleyheath to Parsonage Manorway, Erith when required. Restrictions will be removed when no longer required
    -no waiting no loading on Belvedere Road, Bexleyheath when required. Restrictions will be removed when no longer required
    - Egress and ingress onto Bedonwell Road will be prevented from all side roads.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 16 May 2024  and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 Months.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternate route will be provided via 
    - Long Lane – Cumberland Drive – Hythe Avenue 
    - Local diversions to be signposted when required

The Bexley (Car Club) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 2) Traffic Order 2024

  1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 13 May made the above mentioned Traffic Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
  2. The general effect of the Bexley (Car Club) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 2) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
    a) introduce one car club bay in the Access Road to Old Farm Avenue Car Park near to its junction with Old Farm Avenue, this will operate at all times. 
    The above measures are proposed in conjunction with the residential development at 124 Station Road Sidcup.
  3. Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 20 May 2024, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plan which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT. The Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 26) Traffic Order 2024

  1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 13 May 2024 made the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2019: 
    a) Introduce new ‘At any time’ no waiting restrictions on Old Farm Place at the junction of Old Farm Avenue on both sides of the road
  3.
