Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Mill Road, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable gas mains replacement works by Southern Gas Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of: No waiting no loading prohibition (parking restrictions) outside 55 – 60 Mill Road, Erith.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 10 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternate route will be required.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Hurst Road from the junction with Carisbrooke Avenue to the junction with Hurstwood Avenue, Bexley
    - prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Selborne Avenue at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley
    - no waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Hurst Road from the junction with Carisbrooke Avenue to the junction with Hurstwood Avenue, Bexley
    - no waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Selborne Avenue at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable repair and maintenance to the water network by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Avenue Road from Beechfield Road to Lesney Park,
    Erith.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 2 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 Months.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic on Fairlawn Avenue, Bexleyheath
    - waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Fairlawn Avenue, Bexleyheath the entire length of the carriageway (both sides of the road). Restrictions to be removed when not required.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 2 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Southern Gas Networks to undertake a disconnection of service in the carriageway, the effects of which will be the introduction of Prohibition of traffic on Sydney Road, Sidcup.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 23 Pedestrian Crossings

Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Bexley proposes to install a new zebra crossing to Slade Green Road, Slade Green approximately 22 metres west of the junction with Chrome Road.

The purpose of the crossing point would be to assist accessibility to and from St Paul’s Primary School and Haberdashers’ Slade Green Primary School and the surrounding roads.

A plan showing the locations of the proposed crossings can be viewed during normal office hours, Monday to Friday inclusive at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, DA6 7AT.

Notification Of An Application For Planning Permission Within The Foots Cray Conservation Area

Proposed development at 4 Cray Buildings Foots Cray High Street, Sidcup.

I give notice that application is being made by Mr B Charmi to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for Change of use from existing Car wash (Class E) to MOT servicing Centre (Class B2).
