Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Burns Avenue, Sidcup - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable laying a service pipe relay including its fitting in carriageway and footway by Clean R&M - East South on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) from outside 116 to 136 Burns Avenue, Sidcup
    • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) from outside and opposite 106 to 142 Burns Avenue, Sidcup
  2. The Order will come into effect on 1 July 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative route will be via
    • Burns Avenue – Portland Avenue – Penshurst Avenue and reverse
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Picardy Manorway, Belvedere - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable the modernisation of the traffic signals by Telent on behalf of Transport for London they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Speed reduction from 40 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour, eastbound and westbound from roundabout at junction with Bronze Age Way to roundabout at junctions with Eastern Way and Yarnton Way on Picardy Manorway, Belvedere
  2. The Order will come into effect on 1 July 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 33 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be required.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable the laying of a new service supply by Southern Gas Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic from outside 65 to 67b Longlands Park Crescent, Sidcup
  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 June 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative route will be via

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable a mains relay by Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) entire length of Upper Sheridan Road, Belvedere
  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 June 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 33 Days
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
    • Paroma Road – Coleman Road – Sheridan Road and reverse
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable special event (Civic Parade) to take place by London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic 9:45 am and 1pm by the Metropolitan Police Service of the following
      Watling Street junction with Gravel Hill/Erith Road/Broadway, Bexleyheath
      Broadway junction with Highland Road, Bexleyheath
      Arnsberg Way junction with Mayplace Road West, Bexleyheath

  3. Whilst the event in Broadway Bexleyheath is in progress no alternative route will be available.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable the installation of a mains pipe in the carriageway by Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) for the entire length of Stanmore Road, Belvedere
  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 June 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 61 Days

The Bexley Traffic Order 2024

  • The Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024
  • The Bexley (Albany Park Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024
  1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
    1. Remove a 2.5m section of the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No. 45 Glengall Road Bexleyheath.
    2. The removed part of the bay will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’10am and 12pm Monday to Friday’.
  3. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
    1. To remove the Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No. 44 Valentine Avenue Bexley.
    2. The removed bay will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’11am and 12pm Monday to Friday’.
  4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the corresponding Parent Orders (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
