The Bexley (Welling Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024

The Bexley (Yarnton Way Restricted Parking Zone) Traffic Order 2024 The Bexley (Waiting and Loading) (Amendment No. 29) Traffic Order 2024 The Bexley (Harrow Manorway 20 mph and 40mph Speed Limit) (Amendment 1) Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 30 September made the above mentioned Traffic Orders under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
- The general effect of the Bexley (Yarnton Way Restricted Parking Zone) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
- introduce a Restricted Parking Zone on the western end of Yarnton Way
The Restricted Parking Zone allows road markings to be dispensed with other than marked bays with signs that detail who can park and when they can park. This zone will have no waiting at any time, no loading at any time. There existing loading bay on the north side of Yarnton Way near Tavy Bridge will remain at its existing operating hours of Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm.
- The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading) (Amendment No. 29) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
- make changes to the at any time waiting restrictions so that they can be included in the new Yarnton Way
- add no waiting at any time restrictions to the central island of Yarnton Way from the end of the RPZ to its junction with Hartslock Drive
- The general effect of the Bexley (Harrow Manorway 20mph and 40mph Speed Limit) (Amendment 1) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
- make changes to add a length of 20mph restriction to Yarnton Way
- Copies of the Orders which become operational on 7 October 2024, the corresponding Parent Orders (and any Orders that have amended those Orders), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and a plan which indicates the length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7A

Parsonage Manorway, Belvedere - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable carriageway resurfacing work by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Parsonage Manorway from the junction with Bedonwell Road to the junction with Brook Street, Belvedere
- No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Parsonage Manorway from the junction with Bedonwell Road to the junction with Brook Street, Belvedere
- The Order will come into effect on 14 October 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 11 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
- Bedonwell Road – Nuxley Road - Albert Road– Erith Road – Brook Street
- Brook Street – Erith Road – Nuxley Road – Bedonwell Road
- Bedonwell Road – Belmont Road – Brook Street and reverse

- Prohibition of traffic on Lessness Avenue, Bexleyheath
- Prohibition of traffic on Marley Avenue, Bexleyheath
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Lessness Avenue, Bexleyheath from the junction with Canberra Road to the junction with Marley Avenue, Bexleyheath

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
- The general effect of the Bexley (Welling Town Centre) (Parking Places)(Amendment XX) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
- introduce resident permit holder bays, operating 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on Westbrook Road from the current boundary to its junction with Clifton Road, Carlton Road, Orchard Road and Clifton Road, Welling
- The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading) (Amendment XX) Traffic Order 2024 would be to:
- add lengths of waiting restrictions, operating 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on Westbrook Road from the current boundary to its junction with Clifton Road, Carlton Road, Orchard Road and Clifton Road Welling
- replace Monday to Friday 9am to 11am no waiting restrictions to Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm waiting restrictions in parts of Clifton Road Welling
- add lengths of no waiting at any time to Westbrook Road from the current boundary to its junction with Clifton Road, Carlton Road, Orchard Road and Clifton Road, Welling
