Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Oaklands Avenue, Sidcup - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Oaklands Avenue from the junction of Days Lane to the junction of Harborough Avenue, Sidcup
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Oaklands Avenue from the junction of Days Lane to the junction of Harborough Avenue, Sidcup
  1. The Order will come into effect on 7 August 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 Days
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
  • Harborough Avenue – Annandale Road – Days Lane and reverse
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) from outside 177 to outside 291 Yorkland Avenue, Welling
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) from outside 177 to outside 291 Yorkland Avenue, Welling
  1. The Order will come into effect on 8 August 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
  • Somerset Avenue – Sutherland Avenue and reverse
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Erith Road, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable asset repair and maintenance by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • No waiting no loading in Erith Road between the junctions of Fraser Road and Holly Hill Road, Belvedere
  1. The Order will come into effect on 29 July 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 weeks.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required,
  3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Asset Repair and Maintenance by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) outside 70 to 78 Colyers Lane, Erith
  1. The Order will come into effect on 25 July 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 Weeks.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,
  • Westbound Colyers Lane – Bexley Road – Barnehurst Road – Mayplace Road East – Perry Street – Northend Road
  • Eastbound Colyers Lane – Bexley Road
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Gas Mains Replacement Scheme – various roads in Bexley - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic on Eynsford Crescent at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic on Shirley Road at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic on Crofton Road at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic on Dorchester Avenue at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic on Manor Way, Bexley full length of the road.
  • Prohibition of traffic on Parkwood Road at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley

  1. The Order will come into effect on 5 August 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 26 days.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  • Banned Turning movements from Upper Wickham Lane into Elsa Road, Welling
  1. The Order will come into effect on 6 August 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 Weeks.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative localised routes will be signposted as and when required.
  3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
