- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Lessness Park, from the junction with Heron Hill, to outside and opposite the side of 37 Lessness Park, Belvedere
- No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Lessness Park, from the junction with Heron Hill, to outside and opposite the side of 37 Lessness Park, Belvedere
- The Order will come into effect on 3 June 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 Days

The Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 32, 35 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local government Act 1985, and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2024, would be to further amend the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2020, to amend the parking tariffs in the Council Car parks in accordance with recent increase in charges approved by the Council.
Copies of the proposed Order, (and Orders amending that Order), and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT or traffic@bexley.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice and should include their full name and postal address.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
