The Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 11) Traffic Order 2024
- Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 2 September made the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985
- The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
a) Remove a section of the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No. 15 Oldfield Road, Bexleyheath.
b) The section of parking bay proposed to be removed currently operates between 10am and 12pm, Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’10am and 12pm Monday to Friday’
c) There is a loss of a 9.8 metres of parking place - Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 9 September 2024, the corresponding Parent Orders (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT. - Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024
Lower Station Road, Ridge Way and Heathview Avenue, Crayford - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement Scheme, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic on Lower Station, Crayford
Prohibition of traffic on Ridge Way, Crayford
Prohibition of traffic on Heathview Avenue, Crayford
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition as set out in Schedule One of this Order. Restrictions will be removed when not required - The Order will come into effect on 9 September 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 weeks.
- Whilst the works are in progress, localised diversion routes will be signposted
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016

- Lower Station Road at the junction with Heathview Avenue Crayford – both sides of the carriageway
- Ridge Way – both sides of the carriageway, from outside 90 Ridge Way to Footpath 120 outside 114 Ridge Way Crayford
- Heathview Avenue – entire length of the road, both sides of the carriageway.
Rydal Drive, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Highway improvement works by a Bexley Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Rydal Drive from the junction with Heversham Road to the junction with Erith Road, Bexleyheath
- No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Rydal Drive from the junction with Heversham Road to the junction with Erith Road, Bexleyheath - The Order will come into effect on 16 September 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
- Heversham Road – Belmont Road – Brook Street – Erith Road and reverse
- Heversham Road – Long Lane – Erith Road and reverse - Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016
