Positive Parenting with Bexley Libraries and the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program

Group of adults sitting around in a circle

Bexley Libraries will be running five Triple P Discussion Groups, each focussing on a different child behavioural problem:

  • hassle-free shopping with children
  • hassle-free mealtimes with children
  • developing good bedtime routines
  • dealing with disobedience
  • managing fighting and aggression

These sessions are aimed at parents and carers of children aged 18 months to 10 years old with a mild or moderate behavioural problem.

Triple P Discussion Groups are 2 hour small group sessions that offer practical advice for tackling a specific problem behaviour.

These sessions do not aim to tell parents how to parent; but instead offer a toolbox of ideas that parents can use to create a strategy for managing behavioural issues in children.

They will be run by a member of the library team who has been trained and accredited by Triple P.
