A consultation launched this week (26 July) is asking residents how they use local pharmacies and their services in Bexley to help develop services in the future.
The results of the consultation will feed into Bexley’s ‘Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment’ (PNA) which will look at health needs in Bexley, the level and accessibility of pharmacy services and how these will be maintained and developed in the future.
Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Cllr Melvin Seymour said:
We all visit our local chemist at different times and for different reasons. They are a part of the local community and often save us a visit to the GP.
To make sure we know how local people are making use of their pharmacy we need to find out more about their experiences and why and when they may pay them a visit.
Please take the time to fill in this quick survey, by doing so you will give us the information we need to build on services for the future.”
The questionnaire should take no longer than five minutes to complete. The information in the questionnaire that you provide is confidential.
Tell us what you think by completing our online questionnaire
Paper copies or an easy read version of the questionnaires are also available under request. For a paper copy please contact Soar Beyond by email at pna@soarbeyond.co.uk or telephone 01442 927972.
The deadline for completion is midnight on 11 September 2024.
We will use your feedback to help develop our draft of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment which will then be available for public consultation in 2025.
