Blue box with the words 'Your Life Your Choice'

The London Borough of Bexley has launched a new online platform designed to give residents more say in the choice of help and support they have access to.

Aligned with the borough’s new Adult Social Care Vision, "Your Life, Your Choice," the new online platform is designed to help residents’ shape the lives they want to live.

Residents will be able to input their help and support requirements into ‘Your Life, Your Choice Bexley’ and the platform will then match users with available agencies that can meet their needs. Residents can then request further information.

Councillor Melvin Seymour, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health, said,

We want residents to have the option to choose the care that enables them to live life on their terms. Your Life, Your Choice Bexley puts residents in control of their care and support giving them the best opportunity to lead healthy, fulfilled and independent lives.

It streamlines the process, making it more convenient for residents to access the support they require.

Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; this new platform ensures support is available whenever it is needed, whether for daily tasks or specialised care, ensuring they have the freedom to live life to its fullest potential”.

Bexley is committed to expanding and enhancing Your Life, Your Choice Bexley over time, offering additional options to better cater to our residents’ needs.

This means that along with the current features, residents will have the opportunity to access a broader range of services directly through the platform.

The Council aims to continually evolve the Your Life, Your Choice Bexley to better serve the diverse needs of the local community, ensuring that residents have even more choices and flexibility in accessing the help and support that best suits their lifestyle.
