  • a Disabled Persons (Blue) Badge must be displayed clearly and correctly, the clock may need to be displayed at some locations
  • pay to park through RingGo; our cashless parking provider - a convenience charge of 20p per transaction applies
  • at some locations, there is also an option to pay and display
  • if you have attempted to purchase a pay and display ticket at the nearest machine, but it is out of order, you should use a nearby machine. If any nearby machines are also out of order and you cannot pay by mobile phone, you should make a note of the issues you have experienced and display it in your windscreen before leaving your vehicle

Refunds

Refund requests of £20 or less which are authorised by the council and relate to faulty council equipment or a breakdown in service will be processed as a single-use one-day car park scratch card(s) equivalent to a minimum of the claim amount.

In exceptional circumstances, refund requests of £20 or less will be considered on an individual basis for processing as a cheque payment.

The above refund procedures do not apply to civil traffic and parking penalties, parking permits, visitor vouchers, parking bay suspensions or parking dispensations, regardless of the claim amount.
