Fitness and rugby for men
Charlton Park Rugby Football Club starts its summer pre-season training on 5 July. The Club would welcome boys and men from the age of 17 to participate in fitness training and to learn rugby skills. Training takes place from 7.30pm (ready on the pitch) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
It’s a great way to get fit, meet other people and start playing the best sport in the world. Our gym is also available if you sign up to train and play.
This activity is offered free of charge to Ukrainian guests.
Rugby for young
We also run a programme for children ranging from the age of 2 and a half to 10 years old (with parent participation) every Sunday at 10am.
This is offered free of charge for Ukrainian guests.

Holiday activities and food programme
As part of the government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, Bexley is providing a summer of enjoyable activities and healthy food to school age children and young people from Reception to Year 11.
From Monday 25 July until Friday 26 August, Bexley’s Summer HAF Programme will offer children and young people lots of exciting ways for keeping active, being creative and trying something new during the summer holidays. The programme will include a variety of fun activities, including sports, food making activities, arts and crafts, and other exciting opportunities to learn and develop new skills, alongside a nutritious meal each day.
Places are totally free of charge for:
- Ukrainian children
- eligible children and young people who receive benefits related Free School Meals
Paid for places are also available for those not eligible for the free places.
