Ombudsman complaints
The Ombudsman agreed to review three complaints about Children’s Social Care Services in this period. After careful investigation it decided not to investigate two of the complaints and found no fault in the other.

Case 1

Case 3
Outcome: No maladministration.
Summary: This long-term child protection case included numerous professionals and inconsistent support over several years. Concerns were raised about the lack of service continuity provided by children's services and its impact on the complainant's family.
