Regularisation
This application is used for works that have already been completed since November 1985 and can be used for all types of works on all types of building.
You should provide details of the works carried out in order for the building control officer to ensure compliance with the regulations has been met.
Plans showing the size, location and construction of works are required for extensions and loft conversions.
When the building control officer visits the site, they may ask for works to be opened up or exposed to show that compliance has been met, they may request additional works to be undertaken to meet compliance with the building regulations.
A regularisation charge is payable with the submission of the application.
