Business Improvement Districts are business-led organisations set up in defined areas by like-minded business people, who work together to positively improve their local trading environment.

The BID is funded by a small ‘levy’ on businesses within the area, based on the rateable value of their property. This money is used to promote Bexleyheath, to enhance the experience for visitors, to enable businesses to work together and to provide services to reduce business overheads.
